The explosion of information on the Internet and the Web has inspired librarians and teachers to stand back and develop criteria for evaluating the quality of the information. KIDS Report Project encourages submission of recommended sites by students themselves.
At the University of Illinois the credibility of information and the ethical principles for placing certain information online are being explored continuously.
As teachers, you will have already developed a sense of quality sites. Your students can acquire similar experience thru practice and examples. Would make a great class discussion topic.
