Thomas Boutell, a Web pioneer, maintains answers to almost any conceivable Web question that could be raised by newcomers. This site is hosted by Sun Microsystems, which provides an extensive amount of shareware and information at sunsite.unc.edu.
At Worldvillage (subscribe Tourbus) is an excellent roadmap with particular appeal for educators for learning about the features and capabilities of the Internet. AskLN, sponsored by AT&T, is also a technology help desk.
If you substitute /Mirror/sunsites for AskLN at the ERIC site, you will find an explanation of Java and examples of curriculum infusion.
Boutell's site is a good trailhead for FAQ's. Do remember that some of their answers pertain only to Sun hard/software environment. As the Web expands, better infrastructure sources will be tailored to the educational community.
