NSTA hosts a number of Awards and Competitions.

The Department of Education's Grants Information web page includes a compilation of DOE, government, and related agency grants. It is always beneficial to check once in a while, because so many grants expire without applicants.

Markle has dedicated $100 million to technology which serves public interests. Can't lose anything to just look!

Check out the Gates Learning Foundation. The first beneficiaries will be libraries in impoverished communities.

Both the Gates Foundation (GMSP) and ResearchResearch Lite will help minority students obtain college scholarships and grants.

Also check with your regional and state education department web sites. The California Department of Education, for example, maintains a Grant Information section covering grants for everything from technology to nutrition education.

Rural groups can seek funds from the National Rural Funders Collaborative. Seven private foundations will provide $100 million to encourage revitalization of rural American over the long term. Different proposal cycles will be put in place.
