That includes the expertise, designs, structures, and supports that enable local agencies to use assessment as a tool to enhance in-class learning. WestEd,the project's sponsor, will develop graduate programs, especially at the pre-service level. Involved groups include the Concord Consortium, Center for Research on Evaluation at UCLA, Stanford, San Jose State University ($1million from Apple), Berkeley and the Lawrence Hall of Science as well as school districts.
