Here is a list of sites to practice creating a class and seeing a demonstration of online learning. This collection was compiled by ISTE in "Learning and Leading with Technology", Vol.29, #8, p. 20.
One special tip: Use online courses for objectives which cannot be fully realized in the real world, such as offering an AP class in a school where none is provided already, ingathering java-like simulations to help students visualize concepts, teaching advanced multi-media production or collaborating with other classes around the world.
