The New York Institute of Photography has placed some hints from its array of courses for mastering the art of photography. The advice is both technical and creative.
Adobe's Photoshop is the gold standard for photo editing and manipulation -- with a price tag to match. Adobe new has two low cost options for budding photographers: Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Photoshop Express (just being released when this page was last updated). Both offer low cost options for photo editing and express includes free on-line image storage on Adobe's web servers. Paint Shop Pro is another low cost alternative.
The Photography Museum will let viewers access more than 75,000 photographs, illustrating photo processes over several centuries. Photos can be ordered for take-out in the Cafe.
